BRUSSELS (AFX) - The European Commission said the deadline for its inquiry into Germany's Sanacorp Pharmahandel AG's proposed joint venture with France's Cooperative d'Exploitation et de Repartition Pharmaceutiques (CERP) is set for May 10.
Under the 50-50 joint venture, a new holding company will be created in an unnamed European country outside of Germany and France.
CERP Rouen SA is a pharmaceutical cooperative governed by French law, engaged in pharmaceutical wholesaling.
Operations are expected to commence in the second half of 2007.
