TOKYO (XFN-ASIA) - Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries Co (IHI) and Itochu Corp have won a contract, valued at 130 bln yen, for the construction of a major liquefied petroleum gas plant in Algeria, the Nikkei reported, without citing sources.
The order was placed by Sonatrach, Algeria's national oil company, the business newspaper said.
The plant, slated for completion in August 2010, will have a production capacity of 3 mln tons a year, according to Nikkei.
