BUDAPEST (Thomson Financial) - Three bids have arrived for Montenegrin oil sector company Montenegro Bonus, with Slovenia's Petrol out in front, reports Hungarian news wire MTI, citing a report in Montenegro's Vijesti newspaper yesterday.
Petrol, said to be interested in growing its presence in the former Yugoslavia, bid 154.5 bln for a 50 pct stake in a joint operating company.
This outstripped bids by Croatia's INA, which bid 130.5 mln eur and Hungary's MOL, which bid 105 mln forints.
Greece's Hellenic Petrol and Russia's Lukoil, who also bought the tender documents, have not placed offers, reports the paper. edward.krudy@thomson.com ek1/slj COPYRIGHT Copyright AFX News Limited 2007.
