FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - SGL Carbon AG is considering changing the company's legal structure into a Societas Europeae (SE) corporate structure from one incorporated under German law (Aktiengesellschaft), the MDAX-listed carbon specialist's chief executive Robert Koehler told Euro am Sonntag magazine.
'Right now we are looking at companies that have already changed their structure over and are ourselves thinking it through very carefully,' Koehler said.
'As an international company with factories and facilities in many countries, becoming a SE is definitely something worth considering,' he said.
Koehler stressed, however, that a decision won't likely be reached for some time. Tyler.Sitte@thomson.com ts/ro COPYRIGHT Copyright AFX News Limited 2007. All rights reserved.
