PARIS (Thomson Financial) - Teleperformance said its Teleperformance Group Inc unit has acquired H-Tel Holdings Inc of Mexico from the Carlyle Group and other minority shareholders in a cash deal.
The purchase price was not disclosed.
H-Tel is the parent company of Hispanic Teleservices Corp, a call center services provider with operations in Monterrey and Guadalajara. It primarily serves large US companies by providing bilingual services to the US Hispanic market and the English language US nearshore market.
Founded in 1989, Hispanic Teleservices manages more than 1,800 full-time equivalent bilingual employees, Teleperformance said.
