LAS VEGAS (AP) - The Transport Workers Union said Sunday it won a vote count early this morning that will unionize some 565 dealers at Caesars Palace.
The union won 380 votes in favor versus 128 against in balloting that took place up until Saturday.
The victory is the second for the union on the Las Vegas Strip since organizing dealers at Wynn Las Vegas in May.
Spokesman Jamie Horwitz called the win a 'blowout' and says the union is looking forward to negotiating a contract for dealers early in the new year.
Caesars Palace president Gary Selesner said in a statement that he was 'disappointed' in the outcome.
Caesars is owned by Harrah's Entertainment Inc.
