TAIPEI (XFN-ASIA) - Innolux Display Corp (3481.TW) chairman Tuan Hsing-chien has given the company a sales target of over 1 trln twd by 2013, with annual growth of 50 pct over the next five years, the Commercial Times has reported.
For this year alone, Innolux has set a target to ship 500,000 LCD television sets and 33-35 mln LCD monitors.
Besides supply from its own LCD panel plants, the company also will outsource 12-13 mln LCD panels for assembly into TVs or monitors, the report added.
The daily also quoted company chief financial officer Thomas Hsu as saying that capital expenditure is estimated at 25 bln twd for this year.
The company earlier said that parent-level sales in 2007 rose to 155.94 bln twd from 105.15 bln the year before.
