FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - Freenet AG said its management and supervisory board have agreed to split off the company's DSL broadband operations and its portal business into two subsidiary units, yet to be formed.
Last week, a Freenet spokeswoman said the company wants to sell its DSL broadband business and has already started initial discussions with potential buyers.
She said at that time that the DSL business would be transferred to a separate unit which will become a subsidiary of the company's holding structure.
