FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - A possible tie-up of Allianz SE.'s Dresdner Bank, Commerzbank AG. and Deutsche Postbank AG. lacks the backing from politicians, Commerzbank chief executive Klaus-Peter Mueller told Capital Investor, adding that the three-way merger is still possible.
'I am not aware that politicians would favour such a solution,' he was quoted as saying.
