SHANGHAI (XFN-ASIA) - China's two biggest online game operators, The9 Limited and Shanda Interactive Entertainment Ltd, said they suspended their games for three days from today to observe a government-led mourning period for the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck southwestern China last Monday.
The two declined to say how much money they would lose as a result of the three-day suspension.
Both The9 and Shanda Entertainment are listed on Nasdaq.
The9's most successful game is World of Warcraft, while Shanda's leading game is World of Legend.
