BONN (Thomson Financial) - Deutsche Postbank AG. said it has reached an agreement with trade union ver.di in regard to 1,400 employees working in its monetary transaction operations.
Postbank will now be able implement its plan to outsource these employees to its unit Betriebs-Center für Banken (BCB) as of July 1.
Under the agreement, the employees will be taken back by parent company Postbank should BCB have to file for insolvency or shut down one of its business sites.
