SYDNEY, Oct 22 (Reuters) - BHP Billiton Ltd/Plc<BHP.AX><BLT.L> first-quarter iron ore production rose 15 percent while copper output was flat against the same period a year ago, the company said on Wednesday.
Performance had been solid, though China had not been immune to the global slowdown, the world's biggest mining house also said in its first quarter production report.
