HOUSTON, Nov 12 (Reuters) - Valero Energy Corp cut the flow of feedstock to a gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracking unit at its 325,000-barrel-per-day (bpd) Port Arthur, Texas, refinery on Wednesday, according to a notice filed with state pollution regulators.
'The unit experienced a swing in feed causing flaring,' according to the notice filed with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. 'Feed to the unit was cut back until the unit became stabilized.'
