WELLINGTON, Dec 10 (Reuters) - Asian shares are expected to
ease on Wednesday, tracking losses on Wall Street where fresh
worries on weak corporate outlooks induced profit taking after
two days of strong gains.
The major U.S. indices fell up to 2.7 percent in choppy trade, led lower be logistics giant FedEx Corp which slumped 14.5 percent after warning the global slowdown would hit 2009 profits .
Nikkei share average futures traded in Chicago were 1 percent lower.
Risk appetite was sharply curtailed, leading to gains in the yen and the U.S. dollar.
Oil and other commodity prices fell on fears over the global outlook, with dismal economic data released out of the UK and Europe.
