KIEV, Jan 3 (Reuters) - Ukraine state-run gas company warned on Saturday that Russia was not pumping enough gas to Ukraine for the proper functioning of the transit system to Europe.
Naftogaz Chief Oleg Dubyna said Russia had supplied 293 million cubic metres (mcm) of gas on Saturday and that Ukraine had exported 284 mcm.
Dubyna said that if Russia raised the price of gas to $250 per thousand cubic metres (tcm) then Ukraine would need to be paid $2.38 for the transit of each tcm over 100 km of Ukrainian territory.
