NATIONAL BANKSHARES INC
The Virginia-based bank holding company said on Friday that David Skeens has been approved by the company's board to be treasurer and chief financial officer. Skeens will continue to serve as senior vice president of operations and risk management at the bank's National Bank subsidiary.
KPMG LLP
The audit, tax and advisory firm said on Friday that Richard Anderson, has been appointed chief information officer, succeeding Rowan Snyder, who is retiring.
Anderson joined KPMG in 2005 and has most recently served as global and national leader of the firm's information technology strategy and performance services.
INVESTORS REAL ESTATE TRUST
Investors Real Estate Trust said Friday it has named Timothy Mihalick as chief executive, succeeding Thomas Wentz.
FOX-DAVIES CAPITAL
U.K.-based Fox-Davies Capital said Friday it has appointed Jason Bahnsen as director of corporate finance, effective immediately. Bahnsen was most recently director, head of metals and mining Asia for Deutsche Bank and based in Hong Kong.
UK FINANCIAL INVESTMENTS LIMITED
UKFI, a company set up to manage the U.K. government's investments in financial institutions, said on Friday Glen Moreno, chairman of Pearson, takes over as acting chairman of UKFI, effective immediately.
He replaces Sir Philip Hampton, who was named deputy chairman and chairman designate of Royal Bank of Scotland. .
BMO CAPITAL MARKETS
The unit of BMO Financial Group hired Tom Krasnewich as a managing director in its US industrials practice based in Chicago. Krasnewich was previously managing director in the industrials group for Deutsche Bank Securities.
Separately, BMO said Managing Director Lee Westerfield has moved into a new role to drive focus on broadcasting companies.
NYSE EURONEXT
The exchange said its head of Global Listings, Catherine Kinney, announced her retirement effective April 1.
MIZUHO FINANCIAL GROUP
Japan's second-largest lender said Deputy President Takashi Tsukamoto, 58, will succeed 64-year-old Terunobu Maeda as president and CEO of the banking group in April. Maeda will take on the role of chairman.
MITSUI & CO
Japan's second-biggest trading house said Executive Director Masami Iijima, 58, will replace Shoei Utsuda as president and chief executive officer on April 1. Utsuda will become the company's chairman.
ALLIANCE TRUST PLC
The investment trust appointed Jonathan Bolton as its head of Japanese equities, effective Jan. 26. Prior to joining Alliance Trust, Jonathan was with TT International Asia.
CREDIT LYONNAIS SECURITIES ASIA (CLSA)
The investment bank appointed Brian Johnson at its Sydney office as banking analyst. Johnson joins from investment bank J.P. Morgan. J.P. Morgan's Scott Manning will replace Johnson.
