TORONTO, Jan 27 (Reuters) - The leader of Canada's Liberal Party said he will announce the party's verdict on the federal budget on Wednesday morning, following a Tuesday evening meeting of the caucus.
'We've got to look at the fine print, look at those numbers carefully, and make our decision,' Michael Ignatieff told reporters after the release of the budget.
The decision, to be announced at 11 a.m. (1600 GMT), would determine the future of Stephen Harper's minority Conservative government, as it will need the support of the Liberals to survive a confidence vote. Both the opposition Bloc Quebecois and New Democratic Party have said they will not support the budget.
