Commerce Department releases January durable goods orders, 8:30 a.m. (1330 GMT). Economists in a Reuters survey expect a decline in orders of 2.5 percent compared with a 3.0 percent fall in the previous month.
Commerce Department releases new home sales for January, 10 a.m. (1500 GMT). Economists in a Reuters survey forecast a median total of 330,000 annualized units compared with 331,000 in December.
