WASHINGTON, April 1 (Reuters) - Leaders of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee said on Wednesday they had reached agreement on key elements of a bill to revise U.S. patent law.
One of the agreed changes would require judges hearing patent infringement cases to play a gatekeeper role in helping juries identify appropriate damages.
The committee will meet on Thursday to discuss the changes.
