KIEV, April 6 (Reuters) - Consumer prices in Ukraine rose 1.4 percent in March compared to a 1.5 percent increase in February, the State Statistics Committee said late on Monday.
Prices rose 18.1 percent year-on-year compared to 20.9 percent in February and a 26.2 percent year-on-year rise recorded in March 2008.
The figures were higher than analysts' expectations, according to a Reuters poll, who saw month-on-month inflation at 1.2 percent and an annual rate at 17.9 percent.
