The results of the regulatory stress tests for the top 19 U.S. banks will
be publicly disclosed on May 4.
The results will include a capital recovery plan for those banks demonstrating a capital need under more adverse economic conditions.
Regulators -- including the Federal Reserve, the FDIC, the Comptroller of the Currency -- plan to hold discussions with the banks about the stress tests from April 24 through May 4, and will publish the assumptions underlying the tests on April 24.
