HOUSTON, April 26 (Reuters) - Alon USA Energy Inc said its 53,000 barrel per day Paramount, California, refinery was at near-normal production rates following a hydrotreater heater explosion last week.
The Wednesday night explosion caused minor injuries to one worker and led to a reduction in output at the Los Angeles-area refinery, which primarily produces asphalt for the paving and roofing industry.
