Labor Department releases the May employment report, 8:30 a.m. (1230 GMT). Economists in a Reuters survey forecast 520,000 jobs were lost in the month compared with a loss of 539,000 jobs in April. The unemployment rate is seen at 9.2 percent, compared with an 8.9 percent rate in the prior month.
Economic Cycle Research Institute (ECRI) releases its monthly future inflation gauge index for May, 9:40 a.m. (1340 GMT). The index read 78.2 in April.
Economic Cycle Research Institute (ECRI) releases its weekly index of economic activity for the week ended May 29, 10:30 a.m. (1430 GMT). In the prior week the index read 111.9.
