PARIS, June 7 (Reuters) - The French government has revised its forecasts for gross domestic product, seeing the economy contracting 3.0 percent in 2009 and growing 0.5 percent in 2010, Le Figaro newspaper reported, quoting the economy minister.
French Economy Minister Christine Lagarde is due to present the new forecasts to her EU counterparts on Monday.
The government had previously forecast GDP of between -2.5 pct and -3.0 percent for this year and up to +1.0 percent for 2010. The economy minister had no immediate comment on the Figaro report which was released late Sunday.
