TORONTO, June 19 (Reuters) - Manulife Financial said on Friday that Michael Bell will take over as chief financial officer in July.
Bell will join Manulife next week and take on his new duties in July. He replaces Peter Rubenovitch, who is retiring from the Canadian insurer after 14 years.
Bell has been executive vice-president and CFO at Cigna Corp for the past six years.
The move marks the second change to Manulife's senior management this year as long-standing Chief Executive Dominic D'Alessandro retired and was succeeded by Donald Guloien.
