BMO Capital Markets has hired Peter Boukouzis to focus on M&A opportunities in the energy sector. Mr. Boukouzis spent nearly eight years at Rothschild Inc. focusing on M&A transactions in the oil and gas industry. He started his investment banking career in the global oil and gas group at UBS.
GREYLOCK CAPITAL MANAGEMENT
Greylock Capital Management said Diego Ferro joined as a senior portfolio manager. He was former co-head emerging markets trading for Latin America at Goldman Sachs.
ROCKWOOD CAPITAL
Rockwood Capital, a private real estate investment firm, named four new senior executives in its White Plains, New York, and Los Angeles offices: Dwight 'Arne' Arnesen, leading portfolio and asset management; Marti Breier, legal counsel; Scott Stuckman as senior managing director of separate accounts; Joel Mayer as director and head of retail.

Allianz SE's supervisory board named Christof Mascher and Jay Ralph as new members to the management board. The changes were prompted by the retirement of Chief Financial Officer Helmut Perlet and the planned year-end retirement of Jean-Philippe Thierry, a board member responsible for France, the Benelux countries, Africa and several business lines.

Global private equity firm Advent announced Michael McShane has joined the firm's operating partner program to advise on investment opportunities in the energy services and equipment sectors. McShane was previously the chairman and chief executive of Grant Prideco.

Lawfirm Ropes & Gray announced that Gregory Metz has joined the firm as a partner in its private equity practice group, based in the firm's Chicago office. Metz joins from Kirkland & Ellis, where he was a partner.
SANTANDER
The retail and commercial bank said it appointed Ian Brown, Mike Gascoigne and Gary McLoughlin as relationship directors for its specialist education, healthcare and communities finance team in the Midlands.
Gascoigne will be based in Birmingham, while Brown and McLoughlin will be based in Santander's regional corporate banking centres in Leicester and Nottingham. All three join from Bank of Ireland.

The business consulting services provider said it appointed West Johnson as vice president, healthcare revenue consulting and Laura Yaeger as vice president, higher education consulting.

The specialist British pension manager said it appointed Laura Upton and Tim Edwards as senior transition managers within the operations team and Marco Diolosa and John Sladden to the asset-liability management team.
It also hired Richard Purcell as actuary within the finance team and Ben Tregoning as business development executive.

The investment company appointed Irshaad Ahmad as the managing director, United Kingdom, effective Sept. 15. Ahmad joins the EMEA team from Russell's Canadian business, which he joined in 2004.
