* Unionized auto workers at an Ontario production plant owned by General Motors
and SUZUKI approve new contract -- caw statement
* Much of the new agreement to take effect in September 2010 after expiration
of existing agreement
* 3-year contract includes wage freeze, benefit cuts, monthly health care
contribution and reduced break times and base wage parity with gm for first
time ever
* Under agreement there will be a replacement for the chevrolet equinox and gmc
terrain in 2014
* Union says still negotiating with Ford Motor Co
