BERLIN, Oct 2 (Reuters) - German states will not order further swine flu vaccinations from Swiss drugmaker Novartis AG as they had originally planned, a German state health official said on Friday.
'The states have decided that in the current situation there is no need for more than the 50 million doses already ordered,' Heinz Fracke, an official from the eastern state of Thuringia's health ministry, told Reuters.
Thuringia heads a group of Germany's 16 federal states addressing the matter.
