SYDNEY, Nov 30 (Reuters) - Australian stocks are set for a
stable start on Monday as some of the worst fears over the Dubai
debt crisis ease, with a recovery in European banks at the end of
last week pointing to resilience in their Australian
counterparts.
Stock index futures stood 37 points or 0.8 percent higher at 4,633, a 60.9 point premium to the 4,572.1 point close in the underlying S&P/ASX 200 index on Friday.
Department store chain David Jones and retailer Harvey Norman hold annual shareholders meetings on Monday.
New Zealand's benchmark NZX 50 index was flat at 3,093.5 in early trade.
