MEXICO CITY, Dec 18 (Reuters) - Mexican retail sales likely fell in October from a year earlier, though at a more moderate pace than the previous month as the country's economy showed signs of recovery from a steep recession, a Reuters poll showed.
Retail sales likely declined 4.0 percent from October 2008, according to the median forecast of 10 analysts.
Sales in September had fallen 4.6 percent from a year earlier.
