SEOUL, Dec 28 (Reuters) - A key South Korean consumer sentiment measure held steady in December from November while a separate measure of their expectations on building prices fell for a third month, the Bank of Korea said on Monday.
But both stayed above the neutral point, indicating South Koreans were cautiously optimistic about the sustained recovery in Asia's fourth-largest economy and its property market.
The consumer sentiment index stood at 113 in December, unchanged from November and off a 7-year high of 117 set in October, the Bank of Korea said in a statement.
A measure of consumer expectations on residential and commercial building prices fell to 106 in December from 108 in November, the third monthly decline since hitting a record high in September, it said.
