Redbook releases its Retail Sales Index of department and chain store sales for December versus November, 8:55 a.m. (1355 GMT). In the prior period, sales fell 4.9 percent.
Standard & Poor's releases its S&P Case/Shiller Home Price Index for October, 9 a.m. (1400 GMT). Economists in a Reuters survey expect an increase of 0.2 percent versus a 0.3 percent rise in the previous month.
The Conference Board releases December consumer confidence, 10 a.m. (1500 GMT). Economists in a Reuters survey expect a reading of 52.5 compared with 49.5 in November.
