MORGAN STANLEY
The U.S. bank said it hired three executives for its listed derivatives team. Dean Tomlinson and Jason Massey, both previously at UBS, join as an executive director in the North American listed derivatives marketing team and an executive director working in the European Listed Derivatives Marketing Team. Massey will be based in London, while Tomlinson will be in New York.
The bank also hired Thomas Ducrot, previously at Newedge, as an executive director responsible for capital introductions for listed derivatives clients, based in New York.
INTERCONTINENTALEXCHANGE
The exchange named Grant Biggar president of Creditex, its credit default swaps interdealer broker. Biggar, previously a managing director, replaces John Grifonetti, who is pursuing other opportunities, according to the company.
JONES DAY
Law firm Jones Day said it hired Scott Pierpont, previously at Mayer Brown, as a partner in its banking and finance practice.
ALVAREZ & MARSAL
Alvarez & Marsal said it hired Malcolm Wright, a former global lead partner in KPMG's private equity group, as a managing director in its transaction advisory group in New York.
ARROW CAPITAL MANAGEMENT
The hedge fund hired Ivan Wanat, from Atlantic-Pacific Capital, as director of business development.
BANK OF AMERICA-MERRILL LYNCH
Bank of America-Merrill Lynch has hired Iain McKie as a carbon emissions trader in London, the company said.
WADDELL & REED FINANCIAL INC
The U.S. asset manager said its 67-year-old chief executive Henry Herrmann will assume the additional role of chairman. Alan Kosloff, who has been the board chairman since 2005, was named lead independent director.
CIT GROUP INC
The U.S. consumer finance company appointed Gerald Rosenfeld, Anthony Terracciano and Laura Unger to its board.
PSIGMA INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT
The private client investment management specialist appointed Tom Becket, who currently heads Global Investment Strategy, as its new chief investment officer.
AXA INVESTMENT MANAGERS
The asset management company named Dan Harlow portfolio manager of its unit AXA Framlington's UK equities team. Most recently, Harlow was director at Montanaro Asset Management Ltd.
