SYDNEY, Jan 27 (Reuters) - Australian conglomerate CSR Ltd said on Wednesday it has received a non-binding proposal from China's Bright Food (Group) Co. Ltd to buy its sugar and renewable energy business, which the Australian company is planning to dispose.
CSR said it remained committed to progressing with the demerger but that would not preclude Bright Food from approaching the listed sugar business in the future.
