KT reported on Jan. 19 preliminary 2009 earnings without providing quarterly breakdown. Its fourth-quarter results were hit by costs of early retirement packages.
All figures were compiled on a merged basis, incorporating results of KT's mobile unit it absorbed in mid-2009.
