WASHINGTON, Jan 30 (Reuters) - U.S. safety regulators are satisfied with a Toyota Motor Corp remedy for fixing a sudden acceleration problem linked to millions of recalled vehicles, a government said on Saturday.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) engineers have reviewed Toyota's proposal for preventing gas pedals in eight models from sticking and have no objections, the official familiar with the plan said.
