IQALUIT, Canada, Feb 6 (Reuters) - The Group of Seven industrialized countries will examine, as a possible future measure, a British plan to impose a levy on banks to help pay for the cost of dealing with financial crises, a G7 official said on Saturday.
The offical said the bank levy idea must be done in a way that does not impede recovery.
G7 finance ministers met on Friday and Saturday in the Canadian Arctic town of Iqaluit.
