HOUSTON, Feb 12 (Reuters) - West Coast gasoline values
rebounded on Friday on a new cycle of pipeline shipment
scheduling, traders said.
Unleaded ethanol-blend CARBOB gasoline in Los Angeles for delivery in February climbed 4 cents to finish at a 1.5-cent premium to NYMEX March RBOB gasoline, which was down 0.62 cent, at $1.9295 a gallon.
Shipments of refined products in California pipelines are done in four cycles each month with one- or two-day breaks between each cycle. Demand builds during those breaks, which facilitate scheduling.
San Francisco Bay market CARBOB for February was priced at 1 cent under NYMEX RBOB.
L.A. March CARBOB gained 3.5 cents, finishing at 4.5 cents over NYMEX April RBOB.
L.A. CARB diesel for February slid 1.25 cents in a sale at 2.25 cents over March NYMEX heating oil, which fell 4.41 cents to $1.9189 a gallon.
Ultra-low sulfur diesel in L.A. continued at a bid of 1.5 cents over NYMEX March heating oil.
February L.A. jet fuel was in a bid-offer spread at 2 cents/4 cents over NYMEX heating oil.
In the Portland, Oregon, market, unleaded gasoline gained 1.75 cents to sell at 3.5 cents over NYMEX RBOB. Diesel was unchanged in a bid-offer spread of 3 cents/5 cents over heating oil. * * For price chains double-click on: * * * *
