Labor Department releases the January Consumer Price Index (CPI), 8:30 a.m. (1330 GMT). Economists in a Reuters survey expect a 0.3 percent rise compared with a 0.2 percent increase in December. Excluding volatile food and energy items, CPI is seen up 0.1 percent, a repeat of the December figure.
Labor Department issues Real Earnings for January, 8:30 a.m. (1330 GMT). Economists in a Reuters survey forecast a rise of 0.2 percent versus an unchanged reading in the prior month.
Economic Cycle Research Institute (ECRI) releases its index of economic activity for the week ended Feb. 12, 10:30 a.m. (1530 GMT). In the prior week the index read 130.0.
