HOUSTON, March 12 (Reuters) - Futures spreads edged upward Friday, nudging most U.S. cash crude differentials downward as much as 15 cents, traders said.
Mars sour traded 15 cents weaker at $3.80 a barrel under West Texas Intermediate. Light Louisiana Sweet was unchanged, dealing for 70 cents over the screen.

Both WTI calendar spreads and WTI trans-Atlantic spreads edged 2 cents stronger in favor of WTI, which tends to cause cash crude differentials to weaken.
For the week, the front-month WTI spread was up 14 cents, the WTI-Brent spread up 45 cents in favor of WTI.
On futures market, April WTI fell 82 cents to $81.24 a barrel. April Brent skidded 89 cents to $79.39.
On the West Coast, Alaska North Slope crude oil for May delivery sold for $2.50 a barrel under WTI. The last previous publicly disclosed sale on March 3 was for April at $1.35 under.
Buyers cut posted prices for California crudes 85 cents a barrel.
