HOUSTON, March 14 (Reuters) - Valero Energy Corp reported a malfunction on Friday in the hydrocracking unit at its 310,000 barrel per day (bpd) Port Arthur, Texas, refinery, according to a notice filed with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
According to the notice, an incorrect level in an HCU seprator led to 20 minutes of flaring at the refinery on Friday evening.
