March 26 (Reuters) - Washington Mutual Inc:

* Files plan of reorganization and disclosure statement with US bankruptcy

court

* Reorganization plan implements terms reached with JPMorgan Chase and

fdic

* Says fdic has not agreed to all provisions of draft settlement agreement, but

hopes for agreement soon

* Says plan will provide 'substantial recoveries' for creditors

* Says plan would establish liquidating trust to distribute more than $7

billion to creditors

* Says rights offering likely once it reorganizes, and that some creditors

would have right to purchase common shares

* Requests hearing with US bankruptcy court for may 19, 2010, to consider

approval of disclosure statement
