STOCKHOLM, April 17 (Reuters) - Sweden will extend the closure of its airspace to at least 1000 GMT on Sunday due to ash clouds from a volcanic eruption in Iceland, a spokesman for the LFV civil aviation authority said on Saturday.
'There are no changes in the Swedish airspace. The whole airspace is closed at least until noon tomorrow (1000 GMT),' said Bjorn Stenberg, press officer.
Sweden had resumed limited flights in northern parts of the country on Friday but authorities closed the entire airspace again on Saturday as the ash cloud enveloped the entire country.
