JONES LANG LASALLE
The real estate services firm expanded its Silicon Valley operations by hiring three executives, including Emily Bielen, formerly Inside Sales leader at Jacobs Engineering Group Inc; Andrew Boyd, formerly a cost accountant at Maxim Integrated Products; and Mark Kindred, most recently at RREEF Real Estate. Bielen will be senior marketing manager, Boyd senior financial accountant and Kindred will be senior research analyst. In addition, two existing Jones Lang LaSalle employees, Abigail San Juan and Julie Steffen, transferred to the Palo Alto office. San Juan has the title of senior vice president and group manager, while Julie Steffen is an assistant manager in its China transaction management division.
MOODY'S CORP
The credit rating firm named Tony Stoupas, formerly global head of international payments and cross product IT at UBS , as senior vice president and chief information officer.
HSBC
HSBC Private Bank named Daniel Ellis as managing director and head of private bank investment group, UK and Channel Islands, based in London from June 14. Daniel, currently head of structured products from HSBC Private Bank (Suisse) SA, will report locally to Declan Sheehan, CEO, UK & Channel Islands, and functionally to Nigel Webber, chief investment officer and global head of of the private bank investment group.

The stock exchange named 10 independent board members, including James Angel, a professor at Georgetown; Larry Bergmann, a former lawyer with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission; Stephen Brodsky, a managing director at private equity firm Vernon & Park Capital; William Dailey, special counsel at Fox Rothschild LLP; Scott Ganelles, chief executive at data provider Ipreo; Patrick Healy, CEO of the Issuer Advisory Group; Sam Scott Miller, an attorney who is also chairman of the Market Regulation Group; Mark Minister, most recently group CEO for brokerage and transaction operations for SunGuard Data Systems; George Munoz, an attorney and head of an eponymous investment banking firm; and Richard Schenkman, managing partner of Elm Tree Group LLC, a private investment firm.

Insurance broker and risk adviser Marsh, a unit of Marsh & McLennan Companies, appointed senior executives including Tom Ernoult, Peter Mellor, Paul Fairhurst and Audrey Corfield, from both Marsh and HSBC Insurance Brokers Ltd (HIBL), to its UK National Corporate leadership team.
COUTTS & CO
The UK private banking arm of the Royal Bank of Scotland said Coutts in Cardiff has named Matt Marsden as private banker. Marsden joins from HSBC Bank, where he was a financial adviser.
DEUTSCHE BANK
Henry Ayliffe, senior Asia banker for industrials group, has resigned from the bank, two sources familiar with the matter told Reuters. It was not immediately known where Ayliffe was headed.
STANDARD CHARTERED PLC
The bank said it has appointed Craig McGee as head of South East Asian equities and head of sales trading, Singapore. McGee joins from Deutsche Securities Asia, where he was head of South East Asia trading.
BARCLAYS CAPITAL
The global wealth management division of Barclays PLC said it has named Bryan Henning managing director, head of global research and investments, Asia. Henning joins from Standard Chartered Bank, and will be based in Singapore.
BOFA MERRILL LYNCH
The firm said it named Raj Melwani managing director and head of Asia Pacific Equity Derivatives Sales. Melwani joins from UBS, and will be based in Hong Kong.
