WASHINGTON, June 2 (Reuters) - Shell Oil said on Wednesday it is suspending activity on two of its offshore wells to comply with the six-month U.S. moratorium on deepwater exploratory drilling.
A spokesperson said the company has also postponed the planned drilling of another well this summer on its Appomattox discovery.
