NEW YORK, June 10 (Reuters) - Bristol-Myers Squibb Co and Pfizer Inc shares rose in extended trading on Thursday after they said they have halted a study of an experimental blood clot preventer due to evidence it prevented stroke among patients with atrial fibrillation.
Pfizer shares last traded up 2.1 percent at $15.22 and Bristol-Myers gained 1.7 percent to $25.05.
