BUCHAREST, Aug 4 (Reuters) - Romania's central bank left its main interest rate unchanged at 6.25 percent on Wednesday, in line with expectations it would wait for more data to assess the impact of a tax hike on inflation and an economic recovery.
The central bank also said it would maintain the current level of minimum reserve requirement for banks.
All analysts polled by Reuters last week expected the central bank to leave borrowing costs flat at a record low for the second meeting in a row following 400 basis points worth of easing since the start of last year.
