MEXICO CITY, Aug 30 (Reuters) - Mexico's public sector ran a fiscal deficit of 49.906 billion pesos ($3.8 billion) in July , the Finance Ministry said on Monday.
Mexico posted a 97.876 billion peso budget deficit in June.
Over the first seven months of the year, the government has run a 151.6 billion peso deficit.
The government projected a deficit of 2.8 percent of gross domestic product for this year in its 2010 budget as its tries to sustain the economy's recovery from the country's worst recession since the 1930s.
The deficit totaled 275 billion pesos last year, equivalent to 2.3 percent of GDP.
