Sept 8 (Reuters) - Sun Healthcare Group Inc, which provides healthcare services for the senior population, said a former employee sued it for violation of various wage and hour provisions of the California Labor Code.
The complaint alleges that the aggregate claim is less than $5 million, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The company said it is investigating the allegations and intends to vigorously defend the lawsuit.
The company's shares, which have risen 22 percent since touching a four year-low in July, were down 37 cents at $7.80 in trading after the bell. They closed at $8.17 Wednesday on Nasdaq.
