FRANKFURT, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Car and truck maker Daimler is cooperating with UK authorities in a price fixing probe of the truck market, a Daimler board member told Reuters.
'I have no knowledge of incorrect behaviour,' said Daimler board member and the head of its truck unit, Andreas Renschler. 'We support the investigation.'
The UK's Office of Fair Trading (OFT) said on Thursday it was investigating 'suspected cartel activity' involving leading vehicle makers in Britain. The UK offices of Daimler's Mercedes-Benz have been visited as part of the investigation.
